Tharawat Magazine and its sister company Tharawat Family Business Forum celebrated the launch of The Tharawat Space Dubai. As the first co-creation space dedicated to family business and multi-generational entrepreneurs in the MENA region, The Tharawat Space is an initiative by the Tharawat team to provide a one-stop shop for family enterprises to meet their peers during events and roundtables, exchange ideas, or just to have an “office away from the office”.

In the minutes before the Launch, the Tharawat team is busy at work, prepping the Space and finalizing details for a successful event.
Each wall of the Space is themed, which includes whiteboards about family business governance and a place where guests can write suggestions.
On the tables are some potted greenery, Tharawat Space brochures, as well as copies of Tharawat Magazine.
At 6:30pm, the doors open and our eager guests begin arriving to join us in celebrating the launch of the Space.
There is a wonderful mix of familiar and new faces, and one can really begin to feel the enthusiasm for the Tharawat Space.
At 7:30pm, Farida El Agamy (General Manager of Tharawat Family Business Forum), welcomes everyone and explains how the Tharawat Space will become a home for family businesses to grow, innovate, and collaborate.
Guests also learned about how the Tharawat Space will function as a knowledge hub, events space, and co-working area for family businesses.
After the keynote, it was back to mingling and networking. With over 200 guests attending, the Launch of the Tharawat Space was a spectacular success, and we felt a surge of energy in the family business community as they discovered a unique space dedicated to their growth.
