Omar Romman is a Partner at BanyanGlobal. For the past eight years, he has worked with family businesses and family offices around the world to help them design their governance strategies, ownership structures, and succession plans.
During his career, Omar has worked with clients in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. He has published a number of articles on family business governance and has spoken at a number of conferences around the world on the topic.
Before joining Banyan, Omar was a Managing Director at Unifund, a family office based in New York and Geneva. He began his career at Bain & Company, consulting to Fortune 500 companies.
Omar has served as a board member of a number of financial and technology startups. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he received his BBA in Finance and he received his MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.
He is based with his wife and three children in Austin, Texas.
