Badr Jafar is CEO of Crescent Enterprises and President of Crescent Petroleum. He is the Managing Director of Crescent Group, which has been operating from the UAE as a family business group for 44 years and is the parent company of Crescent Enterprises and Crescent Petroleum.
Badr serves as Chairman of Gas Cities LLC, a joint venture between Crescent Petroleum and Dana Gas PJSC, and as Chairman of Pearl Petroleum, a partnership between Crescent Petroleum, Dana Gas, OMV of Austria, MOL of Hungary and RWEST of Germany.
Additionally, Badr is active in a variety of other industries including ports and logistics, serving as Chair of the Executive Board of Gulftainer (the world’s largest private container port operator). He plays an active role in private equity initiatives, serving as a member of the boards of The Abraaj Group (UAE) and Growthgate Capital (Bahrain).
