The Love family has built their fortune from their ownership of Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, the chain of service stations and truck stops founded by husband and wife Tom and Judy Love in 1964. Currently, the Oklahoma City-based operation earns approximately $19 billion in annual revenue and has provided the Love family an estimated net worth of $7.4 billion. Tom Love entered the business world through the purchase of a series of restaurants and car washes. Eventually, he saw opportunity in fixing up abandoned gas stations and bought his first one in Watonga, Oklahoma in 1964. Tom and Judy married in 1961 and raised their four children in their home of Oklahoma City. Today, three of their grown children work in the family business. Frank and Greg Love serve as co-CEOs of the corporation, while Jenny Love Meyer is Vice President of communications. Prior to his role as co-CEO, Greg Love served as President of development and Chief Operating Officer for the company. Judy Love is President of the Family Foundation and serves on the board of various non-profit and philanthropic organisations in Oklahoma.
