The Love family has built their fortune from their ownership of Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, the chain of service stations and truck stops founded by husband and wife Tom and Judy Love in 1964. Tom Love entered the business world through the purchase of a series of restaurants and car washes. Eventually, he saw opportunity in fixing up abandoned gas stations and bought his first one in Watonga, Oklahoma in 1964.
