Rania Labaki

Rania Labaki is Associate Professor of Finance and Family Business and Director of the EDHEC Family Business Centre. Before joining EDHEC in 2016, Rania developed a unique mix of academic and practical knowledge throughout extensive experience with international leading organizations specialized in family business education, networking, advising and research. She teaches and conducts research at the intersection of the fields of finance and family business. Her recent interests revolve around the role of the family emotions in financial decision-making. Dr. Labaki is also an active member of several organizations, including IFERA, FBN International, FBIF, FBN France Scientific Board, Women in Family Business, and FBR, JFBM, ERJ and JFBS Editorial Review Boards. Along with a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from the University of Bordeaux, Rania Labaki holds the Family Firm Institute Certificates in Family Business and Family Wealth Advising.
