Ludovic CAILLUET is Professor of Strategy and Business History at EDHEC Business School. He holds a Maîtrise (MA honours) and a Doctorate in Economic History from the University of Lyon. His main research interest is the formation and dissemination of strategy practices and business history, especially the emergence of new sectors. He currently works on the strategic uses of the past by organizations and particularly family firms. He was awarded the best dissertation Award of the European Business History Association in 1996 and was an Alfred D. Chandler, Jr. International Visiting Scholar in Business History at Harvard Business School in 2005.
