The Keller family is one of Switzerland’s oldest and best-known business families, due primarily to their ownership stake in DKSH Holding AG. DKSH is one of the world’s longest-serving Market Expansion Services Group with operations centred primarily in the Asia-Pacific region. The family’s roots in the company trace back to the 1860s. During this time, family patriarch Edward Anton Keller was one of two Swiss entrepreneurs who established companies in Manila. They worked closely together and eventually formed the organisation that would become DKSH. Today, the family name is still tied to the organisation, as Adrian T Keller serves as Chairman of the DKSH Board of Directors. He first assumed this position back in 2004 after serving as a director of the company. Prior to this, he was a partner at Global Reach, New York, a private equity firm. Andreas W. Keller currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee for Diethelm Keller Holding Ltd., Zurich, which is the principal shareholder of DKSH. Before the 2000 merger of Diethelm & Co. and Edward Keller Ltd., Andreas served as Chair of both boards.
