Founded in 1998 by Wang Wenxue, the China Fortune Land Development Co., Ltd. (CFLD) is one of China’s leading New Industry City operators. It has over 100 industrial centres across ten sectors globally.
Wenxue began his career out of high school, joining the local transport bureau in Langfang City. By 1992, he had started his own hotpot restaurant, popular among local government officials.
Leveraging the relationships he had built with his customers, Wenxue entered the renovation business, modernising government offices and the headquarters of state-owned firms. He would later become one of the city’s first real estate developers.
In 2002, Wenxue’s company won a 50-year development agreement for an industrial park in Gu’an, launching its success in the business cluster sector. He serves as CFLD’s chairman with an estimated net worth of $4.9 billion.
The Wang Wenxue family and owns the professional soccer team Hebei China Fortune FC, a member of the Chinese Super League.
