Rock Ventures LLC is a holding company for more than 100 businesses with interests in technology, real estate, gaming, media, community investments and economic development.

The Detroit-based company was founded by Daniel Gilbert in 2007 and generates an annual revenue of over $6.5 billion with a portfolio that includes Quicken Loans, Rock Gaming, Bedrock Real Estate Services and the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team.

Beginning with Bizdom, a non-profit entrepreneurship accelerator for Detroit web and technology startups, Rock Ventures would go on to create the city’s first technology corridor of companies through its investments and developments.

By 2014, Rock Ventures had secured over 60 buildings in downtown Detroit through its real estate company holding and launched several local technology initiatives by way of its venture capital subsidiary, Detroit Venture Partners.
