Dm-Drogerie Markt GmbH + Co. KG is Germany’s leading drugstore chain, also engaging through its own brands and holdings in the consumer staples sector. Headquartered in Karlsruhe, Germany, the company was founded in 1973 by Götz Werner.
A year after Götz Werner opened the company’s first location, Pfannkuch grocery chain owner Guenther Lehmann invested in the discount drug business, spurring DM’s growth and expansion.
