China Fortune Land Development Co. Ltd. (CFLD) is one of China’s largest industrial park developers with over 100 New Industry Cities worldwide. Headquartered in Beijing, CFLD was founded by Wang Wenxue in 1998.
The company began as Huaxia Real Estate Development Company Ltd. and completed its first project, Huaxia Garden, in 1998. The firm’s industrial park business was launched in 2002 with the development of Gu’an Industry Park.
The company officially became China Fortune Land Development in 2007 and transformed into a shareholding entity that same year. CFLD established the government-led, enterprise-based business approach that it maintains today throughout the 2000s, securing developments in Xianghe County, Shenyang City, Wuxi City, Bazhou City and Beijing.
In 2012, CFLD entered a joint agreement with the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation to build the Gu’an Aerospace Science and Technology City. The company extended its reach internationally with its 2014 technology incubator established in Silicon Valley, California.
CFLD was formally added to the SSE 50 Index in 2017 and generates annual revenue of over $15 billion.
