Belle International is a footwear and sportswear supplier that offers brands such as Belle, Stacatto, Tata, Teenmix, Nike, Adidas and Converse. Based in Hong Kong, it was founded in 1978 by Tang Yiu.

Belle began as Lai Wah Footwear Trading, Ltd., later becoming Belle Footwear Limited with the company’s expansion into the wholesale market in 1991. Belle’s retail business began with its exclusive Staccato shoe brand, eventually becoming China’s largest retailer of women’s footwear.

Belle acquired brands such as Senda and Mirabell during the early 2000s. It was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2007.

By 2010, Belle operated 10,000 retail locations and was listed on the Hang Seng Index. In 2012, the iconic brand, Hush Puppies, joined Belle’s distribution slate, as acquisitions of footwear and clothing brands continued throughout the 2000s.

The company would delist in 2017, at which point it became privately-owned by a consortium.
